Southeast Clinical Research, LLC is an independent, multi-specialty research company. Our team’s goal is to assist in the research and development of new medical therapies by providing the highest quality medical research data to sponsors within required timelines.

Established in 2006, Southeast Clinical Research conducts Phase II-IV clinical trial studies for the pharmaceutical industry. Our staff has completed more than 100 clinical trials with over 30 sponsors. The research studies provide new medications and improve upon existing medications used by the medical community to provide the best treatment possible to their patients

Tammy Parrott

Clinical Research Director:      

Graduated Valedictorian of her class in 1992 from City College as a Certified Medical Assistant. Tammy obtained her license as an X-ray tech in 1993 and became certified as a Clinical Research Coordinator in 2005. She has coordinated over 150 clinical trials for over 30 pharmaceutical companies in the last 22 years. She started Southeast Clinical Research in May 2006 and continues to enjoy direct contact with the patients.

Katie Spears

Lead Clinical Coordinator/Office Manager:

Joining our team in 2017, Katie is a Certified Medical Assistant with a passion for Clinical Research. She obtained her Phlebotomy Certification in 2017 where she discovered her love for patient interaction. Since joining our team, Katie has coordinated studies in a wide variety of conditions ranging anywhere from hyperglycemia to Chronic Heart Failure.  She displays a commitment to our patients through her caring nature and is dedicated to bridging clinical research and clinical care.

Shara Nash

Clinical Research Coordinator:

Joining us in 2019, her medical field experience started in 2006 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She found interest in blood collection and lab processing, she completed phlebotomy in 2008, top of her class. In 2015, Shara graduated from The College of Central Florida with her Business Administration degree, specializing in Health Care Management. Shara assist in the business administration aspect of the company as well. She is currently a BLS provider and a Medical Assistant. Shara enjoys everything about clinical trials and the patients she gets the pleasure of helping.
